You Say It's Your Birthday!

I've been meaning to post pictures from Reese's birthday party.
Well, we had two parties. One was with Mike, Landon and me. The second was with EVERYONE else.
Party one was held on June 26. Landon helped her open presents. (Well Landon opened presents.) It was fine since she didn't really get it.

I made her own little cake, so she would be able to tear it apart and have a good time.

She enjoyed her cake and ate the WHOLE thing. That's my girl!!!

It's been a while...

Sorry I haven't posted for a while. It's been pretty busy around here.

Reese is holding on to tables, couches, chairs, walls and walking everywhere. She's let go a few times and taken a couple steps, but isn't quite sure yet. She'll get there... she's so close.

She wore a bow in her "hair" to church Sunday. It didn't stay in for too long, but she has enough hair to put one in, which is a huge deal!
Maybe by the time she's 2, she'll have enough hair for pigtails, LOL.

Brand New Room!

I finally got Reese's room painted. It took forEVER! FYI, don't ever strip paint. It's a bad idea.

Here are some pictures of her room. I think it looks pretty great. I'm glad that everyone is getting settled, and most of the rooms are decorated. Our bedroom is next, but I think I can wait until summer for that one. I've had about all the painting I can handle for a while...
