Appointment Update

Well, I had my 36 week appointment yesterday. He checked my cervix and said I was 2 cm dilated. Yippie! I've been feeling a lot of pressure "there" lately, so maybe the baby is working it's way down. He said the head was down and pretty low. All good news!!

I won't find out the Group B test until my next appointment. Finger's crossed for negative this time! Less to worry about.

36 Week Doctor Appointment - TODAY!!

I can hardly believe I'm 36 weeks pregnant. Oh it's so nice to be on the downhill slide.

Today I go to the doc. He's going to check me for Group B Strep. Read about it here. I was positive with Landon, so I'm guessing I will be positive with this baby too. It's kinda a big deal, but I just take antibiotics during delivery and everything should be fine!

Mike and I are both hoping that he wants to give me an ultrasound, just to check the baby. It would be nice to see how big it is and if it's facing the right way. But that also gives us a chance to find out what it is... which Mike doesn't want, and neither do I, really. I made it this long, what's 4 weeks? Nothing!

34 Weeks 4 Days... Only 38 Days To Go

I've been pretty good about not complaining, but now that it's getting to the end, I'm not feeling quite as great as I was. Acid reflux is BAD! The other night I couldn't even lay down in bed without feeling like my throat was on fire. Oh it's terrible. My feet were really swollen Sunday night, so much that they hurt. And this morning, I really thought I was going to get sick. I think I'm having morning sickness again. Once I ate, I felt better, but boy, it wasn't good before that. I am really ready for this baby to come. I hate feeling crappy and being moody.

My goal today is to take a walk, something I haven't done for a while. I'm hoping that will make me feel a little better. Plus, I've gained a few pounds, and I don't want to go crazy these last few days since I've done so good so far.

And I'm going to try to get to bed earlier tonight. I'm tired already.

33 Weeks - 7 To Go!

Had my doctor appointment today. He said everything looks good. The heartbeat was 140, so still no clues about the sex. He thought the head was down and possibly low. Gosh I hope so. I asked him what the parts were that are pushing out and kicking me. He thought it was a butt and a heal. Good news. Baby is down and facing the correct way! Yippie.

At the next appointment, he said he will do the Group B Strep Test and check my cervix. I'm on two week appointments now, which means I'm getting closer to the end. I'll be excited to see if I've dialated since I've been having BH for a while now. It would be great if this baby came a little earlier than June 23rd. Cross your fingers. We can only hope!
